The exquisite Jonathan Rhys Meyers has been earning a whole lot of new fans (and money) in his role as a young,vibrant and, perhaps most important, svelte Henry VIII in Showtime's hit series The Tudors/ While Jonathan hasn't been showing off as much skin as we'd like in the series, there have nevertheless been several excellent occasions to catch the increasing buff Mr. RM in the, well, buff.

It's somewhat startling to consider that in just the past 12 years, Jonathan has made something like 35 movies and TV series, averaging almost three films every year. I mean this is one very busy bad-boy beauty no matter how you look at it.

Doubtless there's lots and lots of reasons why this talented and good-looking 29-year-old Irishman is so popular, but certainly his propensity to show serious skin in so many of his films has to be counted high on the list. In one appearance after another, he's given us the opportunity to intimately experience both the slim and the thick of him and there's no question that, with each new skinning, his popularity has grown exponentially.

Starting with his earliest films like The Tribe and The Governess, continuing with others like The Velvet Goldmine andTitus and culminating in the famous long full-frontal shot in 2001 Tangled, Mr. Rhys Meyers has demonstrated that he's someone totally secure in his own body and more than happy to share it with the rest of us.
